I can't recall if I've posted this one before or not. I try to label stuff I've posted. Anyway...this is Great Grandma Eleanor Violet Verble and Great Aunt Shirley to Violet. Check out the stylin' hat and coat Grandma has on. Why don't people wear hats anymore? Fancy hats need to come back in style.

SPARKLY

Violet experienced nail polish yesterday evening when one of the neighbor girls painted Violets nails on one hand blue. She thought it was the coolest thing. So I decided to redo them and I gave her clear sparkly polish. I was surprised she sat long enough to have her nails painted.

FAMILY TREE

Last week was family week at school. Violet had to take in a picture of her family. They talked about family and their last names and did tons of projects with that theme. This one came home friday.

FIRST REAL BOO BOO'S

Violet fell on the driveway while running on friday evening. This was her first real boo boo that required band aids. It wasn't until she was all done being cleaned up and had on her band aids that she almost passed out on me. A bit alarming to me. I knew she only hit her knees not her head. I was carrying her down stairs and we were headed back outside when she cried mommy, turned white and fell backwards all limp. I guess she just has a weak stomach. Takes after Chris.
