TEA PARTY

I've been looking for a table and chairs for Violet's 18" doll for a while. All are expensive. I was at Michaels yesterday and found these metal chairs and flower pot table at Michael's. They were the perfect size. I repainted them black, made a table cloth and cushions. $28 for everything!
The doll in the hat is mine. Violet has to ask to play with it. She knows to be gentle with the doll and not carry it around by the head. As a result she of this she's being very gentle with her doll too.

Missouri Botanical Garden

Founded in 1859, the Missouri Botanical Garden is the nation's oldest botanical garden in continuous operation and a National Historic Landmark.

The Garden is a center for botanical research and science education, as well as an oasis in the city of St. Louis. The Garden offers 79 acres of beautiful horticultural display, including a 14-acre Japanese strolling garden, Henry Shaw's original 1850 estate home, and one of the world's largest collections of rare and endangered orchids.

We went to play in the kids area. Luckily it was shaded.

Suson Park and Kids Farm

Violet loves horses but the minute we get near one in person she freaks out. This was just a pony and she wanted nothing to do with him.
