CHOP CHOP

Taking a bit getting used to. It's a work in progress. I'm letting the bangs grow out a bit. We took Violet sledding this morning and I didn't take a hat. I thought my ears were going to fall off. Probably the wrong time of year to get a shorter hair cut.

DIGGING OUT...LITERALLY

Because the plows still have not come by smaller cars are having a hard time. One of our neighbors got stuck and needed a push.

So Chris, and the neighbor that got stuck, started shoveling the street to make it a bit more passable. We fear that if the plows come over night they are going to leave a huge pile at the end of the driveway that we'll have to shovel in the morning. When we have snow like this I kinda wish we had a giant SUV or truck.

SNOWOCALYPSE 2011

Here's Chris yesterday afternoon shoveling the driveway and sidewalk.

This was about 15minutes later. Everything was already covered. That's how fast the snow was falling. You can still see Mr.Jeff across the street shoveling his driveway.

Where's the street? This was taken around 11:30 today. We've got about 12" here.

ORANGE YA GLAD I SAID YOGURT

Saturday afternoon we went to Orange Leaf. A new self serve frozen yogurt place that just opened. They have 15 yogurt flavors to choose from and then you can pick as many toppings as you want. Then you have it weighed and pay per ounce. The place is really cool. Bright colors, cool tile, fun lights, and big chunky plastic furniture. Reminds me of our basement.

Violet chose chocolate yogurt with, of course, M&M's, gummi bears, and chocolate syrup. Surprisingly she wasn't bouncing off the walls later.

I wish my bathroom had tile like this.

I discovered this place about two weeks ago when I went to Hobby Lobby, it's in the same parking lot. It was dark out and this place was just glowing green and orange. It definitely stands out in the strip of shops.

BIRTHDAY DRESS

I finished Violet's birthday dress this weekend too. When she unwraps her doll she will be wearing this dress too.

I've made some dresses for this spring too.

She'll wear this for St.Patrick's day. I found yellow leggings with white polka dots that go perfectly with this.

This one she'll wear for Valentine's day. She'll wear it with red leggings and a long sleeve white shirt.
All of these dresses can be worn into the summer

BOX COMPLETE

I just finished the box this afternoon.

Let's just say I might have made to many dresses. Everything fits in the box but there is no room for growth. So if I ever make any more dresses I'm not sure where they will go.
