Spirits of the Past at Missouri Town

It was pretty cold last night. We bundled up for some trick or treating.

  

This place doesn't need a bunch of gorey halloween stuff. The 1850s decor in the dark only lit by candles is enough to spook anyone. Lot of great visuals.

Table full of 1850s home remedies. If you have a bug bite, just mix up some manure and urine into a paste and slap it on.  I wonder how they came up with all their concoctions.

 

Hot apple cider to warm us up.

 

Love these guys. They had them last year. They're made up of stuff laying around the village.

END OF THE SOCCER SEASON

We've officially ended the soccer season. Time for a break and do something else. I think she started to loose interest the last two weeks. But we'll be ready to go again next spring.

Last night Violet had her end of the season party at Custard's Last Stand. The girls all wore their halloween costumes. Violet wore her Tangled dress because I knew the sleeves of her Sleeping Beauty dress would get ice cream all over them.

 

  

The coveted trophies. Violet has been asking all season if she'll get a trophy.
