Violet has finally gotten really interested in her activity tent. She likes to get inside and squeal. Well...she squeals because she gets in there and I say "I'm gonna get you" and she gets all crazy because shes cornered.

BUBBLE ACTION

Violet likes the bubble machine that we originally bought for the dogs a few years ago. I should have gotten a picture of Willow. Maybe next time. Bubbles are like catnip for dogs.

You can't see it, but there is an orange pom-pom on the top of the hat. And yes I know she looks Scottish. She's a Scottish leprechaun! The beard looks more like a beard when her head is down. I don't have a derby hat pattern so this had to do. Besides this was faster to make anyway. The ladies at school had a good laugh this morning. She might be the only baby in the school parade today.

HAPPY ST. PATTY'S DAY!

SPRING IS HERE!

First walk this spring without a jacket. So far Violet doesn't seem to mind the hat and managed to keep it on and didn't throw it. However, half way through the walk George gets tossed from his ride.

COTTAGE CHEESE

Violet takes the naked walk everynight to the bathroom from her room. She holds onto Chris' hands and when she gets to the doorway and sees me waiting she gets really excited. Then she stands at the tub and waits till it's done filling up.
I'm pretty sure her torso is longer than her legs.

PLEASE LET ME HELP...

...pick up the crumbs and dog hair under the table. I'm making the gagging face right now. I can't seem to sweep enough.

GETTING ALONG

Violet's feet still don't quite reach the floor when she sits on her ladybug so we have to push her around. She does however like to push it around while crawling.
She also finally mastered drinking from a straw and now thinks it's a game.

THIS, THAT & DADA

Violet is getting a big kick out of her tent and tunnel. So we took a big box I had and cut holes and door into it for her to play with. She's also using her tent like a garage for her car. She pushes it into the tent.


We are pretty sure Violet is saying this, that and Dada. I kept thinking it was just coincidence when she was pointing to things saying this or that. We have always said 'What's this' or 'What's that' before telling her what that item is. Now every time she points we hear this. We tested her on this all afternoon and every time we heard the same thing. She might even be saying what but we just don't hear that yet. Then this evening before bath time she pointed right at Chris and said Dada. Not da or dadadada but Dada. We'll see if this all continues, or if it was all coincidence today.
