Not a great picture. We went to US Toy and tried on many hats. We also got some fake food to put away for xmas and got ideas for building a little stove and sink.

STUFFED MAGAZINE VOL II

I've got work again in Stuffed Magazine. This is Volume 2 that will hit stores Wednesday July 1st. I found the last issue, January's issue, at Borders. So I'm guessing it's pretty easy to find.
Though I didn't make the front cover my name did. Of course they spelled it wrong, but that's ok.

BOX O'BABIES

Here's what we did inside yesterday because it was too hot.
Violet still loves boxes. She filled it up with all her babies then pushed it all around the kitchen.

ALL DONE!!

We completed the swing set today. Violet only got to play on it for a about 20min before bedtime today. It was so hot today we just couldn't go out. It looks like that might be the trend for a while too. It'll be a lot of fun when it cools off a little and all her neighborhood buddies can come play.

Right now we are borrowing our neighbors baby swing till we get ours.

Here's the back. It's supposed to have a rope climbing ladder, but we're waiting to put it on once everyone is a little older.

GUEST HOUSE

We are very, very close to being finished. The side that holds the swings isn't level and will need some adjusting before we can add the swings. Chris and I had to take yesterday off work to get a majority of it done or we'd still be putting it together in August. Over the past week we've had some neighbors help out so we decided to buy them some pizza this evening and let the kids play on what was finished. I'll get some better pictures of it tomorrow when we finish it up.

MOVING SLOWLY

We've got the frame up and it's nice and level. Violet's been busy bossing us around and complaining that we're moving to slowly. It's because it's almost 100. Every time we begin an outdoor project we get the hottest days of the year.

BUILD IT AND THEY WILL COME

Literally! We had about 7 kids running around the backyard and sitting on that slide.
Thanks to Great Grandpa, Violet is getting a swing set. We staked it out last night in the one corner of the yard that we haven't landscaped. Based on this photo it looks like we have nothing back there but if you'd turn around it's a bit of a jungle. In fact that small evergreen caused us problems in figuring out the placement. When we planted that 2 years ago we thought we had it over to the left far enough.
Violet decided to take the directions from us and build it herself because we weren't moving fast enough.
