Streamers everywhere!

 

 

 

CHRISTMAS IN THE PARK

We headed over to Longview park to see Christmas in the Park.

 

 

 

Then we decided to get some dessert at a local coffee shop to celebrate Daddy's birthday.

Super yummy pumpkin pecan cheesecake.

 

 

 

Violet said it was the best brownie she ever had.

CHRISTMAS CAROLING

Last night our troop and two others sang Christmas Carols at one of the retirement centers.

 

They handed out Christmas cards after they sung. Violet asked a lot of questions when we left about why all the "old people" live together. I tried to explain it as simply as I could. In the end I ended up comparing to a college dorm. Which if you think about it, is kind of true. Everyone lives in the same building, some have room mates, you eat meals in a cafeteria, there is a lounge, etc. Violet said that sounds like fun. I agreed.

 

We got done super early with our caroling so we decided to get some popcorn at Target. We do this often in the winter. We also picked up one more thing for Daddy for his birthday. She saw the photo spot and wanted me to take a picture.

Underwear and diapers on the tree. Violet does not like this prank. She's concerned that the elves where in her room last night. I left her drawer open with underwear hanging out and a trail of underwear out into the hall and down the steps.

WHAT TO DO WITH THE WINGS?

I decided that I couldn't just shove these in a dress up box or hide them away so I attached them to plaques to hang. We can still take them off and wear them because I attached them with velcro. I turned Violet's plaque long ways so I could add a hook to hang the headpiece.

VISITING SANTA

Our annual trip over to Bass Pro to see the "real" Santa.

 

I was very proud of Violet this year. This is the first time she would actually open up and talk to Santa. She had an actual conversation with him,

 

 

Don't let this photo fool you. Gryphin is still not walking. Will walk with assistance. It usually doesn't last long and he goes limp to the floor.

Some how they got trapped behind the fireplace screen. Looks like they dropped their rope.

Our elves showed up. No mischief today. They brought an Advent calendar for Violet and Gryphin.

ONE YEAR PHOTO BOOK

Gryphin's One Year book arrived while we were gone. Very happy with it. Even happier that I got it done.
