Violet likes knocking things over now. You have to stack them away from her because she gets so excited and wants to knock it down before you even get a few blocks stacked. We also thought that by putting her toys out of reach might encourage her to try crawling. This of course is not working. I don't think she's ever going to crawl.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Lots of kids never crawl - they skip right to walking. Perhaps she is above the whole "crawling" thing.
They all do things at different rates. It's hard because 2 of my nephews are a couple months older then my kids. I found myself comparing. They are all so different.
Tate didn't crawl until he was almost 10 months and he walked a week before his first birthday. Don't sweat it.
Some babies just operate on their own schedules. She may never crawl, but just go to right to pulling herself up and walking. All babies are different. There is no real norm.
Robyn, she is so freakin' cute! We thought Max would never crawl too. Then he figured it out and we wondered why we wanted him too crawl so bad, lol.
