Violet's 3rd birthday is coming up on March 1st. She's getting an 18" doll for her birthday. This is a Madame Alexander doll not Am. Girl. I can't justify spending $95 for a 3yr old, even if she is really gentle with her toys. Maybe someday. So to save money I decided to make a wardrobe of clothing instead of buying any. I started just before Thanksgiving. I have tons of scraps just collecting dust and this was a great way to use a lot of them up. Yes, I might have made a few to many but it was fun.
Violet is also getting a bed that I need to finish the bed skirt on and a doll box that we have yet to start working on.

The blue dress, the last dress shown, is Violet's birthday dress. I am currently working on that right now.

These are beautiful, Robyn.
And so much more meaningful since they're all homemade. Also, I hate the American Girl dolls--I will never buy one for Lydia either!
this is mildly disturbing. It's like 10 more than I thought you made.
Absolutely NOT overboard—those outfits are incredible! She is SOOOO lucky!!!
Um, can I come over and play with them? Would that be weird?!?

Now you can start making matching 15" clothes for your Jenny doll and you can all have a tea party.
I do have the pattern book for my Jenny doll. In fact the red cloak w/ fur trim is one of those patterns. I just enlarged on the xerox 110% and it worked great,
