This week seems like it's lasted forever. We've all been sick with a cold this week. Violet has it now. Her eyes get all goopy when she gets a cold. This morning was the worst I've ever seen them. She couldn't even open her right eye it was so crusty and gross. We've also had a problem all week with her drinking. She's been refusing her bottles ever since tuesday. We called the doctor to see if we could switch to whole milk and got the ok. That hasn't really helped. She doesn't want it in a bottle or in a sippy cup. Today I held her down and she finally took it. Maybe she'll get over this funk by monday.

I know it's frustrating, but they eat when they grow. Since she's had a cold, she may be in a bit of a funk. When she feels better, she'll be eating up a storm. If she's ok on her growth chart, don't worry too much about it. You can try giving her Pedialyte, water and YoBaby yogurt to up her immune system and fluid intake. She'll eat and drink when she's ready.
