OLDIE BUT A GOODIE

Violet loves the old Fisher Price Busy Box. It's about as old as I am. Right now this is her new favorite toy.

Violet may be on the verge of teething. Of course I thought this 3 weeks ago too. But she's been chewing like crazy and drooling non stop. She was a little fussy this evening till I gave her the teether.

WHO ARE YOU?

Uncle John stopped by on his way though town yesterday. Violet is not quite sure what to think of new people or people she hasn't seen in a while. We advised John to let her get comfortable with him by just letting him sit there so she could get used to him. She's got a little stranger anxiety right now. She has started crying before if someone she doesn't recognize gets to close to her face. She'll get very quiet and look to Chris or I to make sure it's okay. It's very cute. It usually takes about 30 minutes and then she's fine.

MORE TASTY FEET

How is this comfortable?
So we think Violet had her first nightmare last night. She woke up around 10:30pm screaming. It wasn't a cry or fuss then screaming. It was instant screaming and she looked startled when we went to check on her. Apparently, as a child, Chris had nightmares and every once in a while still does. We call them night terrors. Even Willow likes to wake us now and then with screaming. Although hers are real creepy because she's asleep but her eyes are wide open.
