DISNEY WORLD VACATION 12/15 - 12/22


Early morning at the airport. Waiting patiently to board our plane.
 
First stop...snacks!!
The giant "Frozen" gingerbread house at our resort, the Contemporary.
 
 
"Mickey" left the kids some gifts in our hotel room!
 
Mickeys Backyard BBQ at Fort Wilderness. This kid ate about three ears of corn.
 
 
 

 
DAY 1 : MAGIC KINGDOM
Got to Magic Kingdom before trope drop to see the morning welcome show.

 Checking out the hats at the hat store.
 
Trying to pull out the Sword in the Stone. I actually witnessed a kid pulling it out really far. Apparently the happens randomly.

Breakfast with Pooh and Friends at the Crystal Palace.
 
Snack time! I feel like we were always eating.

We came around the corner at the end of the ride to see a crane standing in the rode. He was so still that for a quick second I thought what an odd place for a prop. The cast members were laughing really hard because he would not fly away.

Day 2 : HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS

Jingle Bell Jingle Bam Christmas show. Unfortunately we could not make it till 10:00 to see the Star Wars light show. Next time.

DAY 3 : Pool Day / Chef Mickey & Christmas Party

A little pool time.
 
 
Dinner at the Capt Hooks at the Polynesian.
 
 
Headed over to Trader Sams Grotto and had a few drinks.  We also got to take home the mugs as souvenirs!
 
A very small bar that only has room for out 50 people. Each drink is an experience that the waitresses act out. Windows are animated and so are some of the things on the walls.
 
Headed over to the MK for the Merry Christmas Party.
 
 
Parade time. Decided to watch it from Liberty Square and not fight the people on Main Street.
 
 
 
Also, to avoid people, we watched the fireworks from the Train Station.
 
Day 4 : ANIMAL KINGDOM
  
Nemo show.
 
I love Violet's face here! Everest roller coaster.
  
It was so hot the day we went to Animal Kingdom that we cut it short and headed back to the hotel around 2:00. Decided to eat dinner at the hotel, ride the monorail, and the check out the Grandfloridian hotel.

Day 5 : EPCOT

Didn't wait to long to see Ana and Elsa. However we did not get to ride the Frozen ride due to the fact that it was closed all day. I even had fast passes for it.
  
Club Cool. Got to try sodas from all over the world. Told Chris the Beverly was really good. He fell for it. In fact it is disgusting and I knew it.
 
 
Surprise guests back at our hotel that evening. Chip is playing with Gryphins rubber dino that he carried everywhere.
 
Day 6 : MAGIC KINGDOM
Had breakfast at Gastons Tavern.
 
 
Giant cinnamon roll big enough for three people to eat.

 
Arrggh!
 
The new Muppet show in Liberty Square.
 
Finally got a pick with her eyes open. Gotta be fast. 
Haunted Mansion
 
 
We had dinner at Be Our Guest.
 
 
Gryphin was afraid the Beast would come around to the table.
 
 
Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin ride. Any ride that took your photo, Chris tried to make a stupid face.
 
The "talking" Mickey at Town Square Theatre.
 
 
The convenience of staying at the Contemporary is the 5 minute walk to Magic Kingdom.
