SAWDUST EVERYWHERE

Day two of working on the stove. It's coming along . The sink and faucet are just sitting in place. In fact we've decided not to fasten the sink down. Would hate for Violet to pour anything into it. It would be a pain to get out. The garage is covered in a thin layer of sawdust. I just know when we go to blow it all out it's going to be like 20 degrees that day.

Here's what we hope the finish would look like. Lots of little details to come. My favorite part. Imagine the color apple green too.

STARTED KITCHEN

We started working on Violet's stove and sink this evening. It doesn't look like much, but we've got all but the doors cut out. It will measure 24"tall x 44"long x 15"deep. It will include a real faucet, real stove knobs, a stainless sink (found a restaurant wholesaler on line who sold pans for buffets, real sink was to big), light inside stove, clock on center back panel and cool fork and spoon knobs I found at Lowes. If it looks half as cool as it does in my head it's gonna be awesome!

SILHOUETTES

I've been meaning to do these for a long time. These are digital, I'll be making some cut paper ones too.

ZOO IN NOVEMBER

Saturday the temp was 70. Not November weather. We took advantage of it and decided to go to the zoo.

We went and saw the animals we missed seeing back in May.

Big fun on the train.

We couldn't miss Violet's favorite animal. The Hippo.

THANKSGIVING 09

Thanksgiving in St. Louis.

Turkey PLEASE!!

Having fun playing with Jackson.

Violet is obsessed with birds. She was extra excited to find Grandma has bird feeders right outside the kitchen window. She watched them all weekend.

Her cute Thnaksgiving day outfit with matching brown converse.
