IN THE GARDEN

Here's how the stone turned out. I was pretty happy with how it dried. I did use some steal wool to clean up the edges and the glass after it dried. I also don't think I'd leave this outside in the winter. I could see water getting into some of those letters, freezing and then cracking. Right now I have it placed in the garden to the left of the patio. Once the other garden is done it will have a new home.

WIGGIN' OUT

Here's what fun you can have with a 2 dollar doll wig. I'd have to say I think Willow looks the best with the wig. I'm thinking I'd make a good bearded lady for halloween.

CRAZY DRIVER

I thought I'd share a doodle Chris left me at work today. This is Mr. Blue Jetta that we've seen, about 3 or 4 times, in the last two weeks on our way to work. We are pretty sure he is crazy. He drives like a maniac and if he could pass you on the shoulder he would. He is quite the character in appearance. This is an accurate depiction of this guy. That is his hair and not a helmet. It is definitely a bowl cut and looks like it could be a wig. I said how does he explain to the hair stylist what he wants...'Yes I'd like a bowl cut but longer in the back and if you could cut the hair high around my ears that would be great'. The story Chris came up with is that he still lives at home (he looks to be about mid 40s) and his mom cuts his hair. That's probably more accurate. : )

FIRST ART PROJECT

Violet and I worked on our first project together. We're making a stepping stone for the garden. There is an area next to the deck that I'll be turning into a kids garden. So I thought it would be nice to make something for it. If anyone out there is thinking of doing this the only suggestion I have is to wait longer than the directions say to start pressing into the concrete. I think it was still too wet. But for what it is it turned out cute.

TUMMY TIME

Violet pretty much has no problem holding her head up now. It's real steady. She's also doesn't want to lay to much anymore. She prefers being upright. So we're using her swing and pod seat a lot. She'll be super happy when she learns to sit on her own.
Not exactly the most exciting video
