ELVES DAY #9

The elves decided to make some snowflakes too.

SNOWFLAKES

After Violet took a bath and got ready for bed tonight we made some snowflakes out of coffee filters.
After we cut them out I ironed them nice and flat then we added some glitter.
We tried using some of my decorative cutting scissors but they just didn't cut very well.

Then we hung them on the window.

ELVES DAY #7

Not sure what's wrong with Gryphin's elf. Maybe he's the comedy relief of the two.
By the way, I finished his stocking this morning.

SPEAK UP, SANTA CAN'T HEAR YOU

Went to see Santa at Bass Pro this evening. I reminded her she needed to speak up or he won't hear a word you're saying.
Toy train set.
She's fascinated by the taxidermied animals. They kinda freak me out. She calls them extinct. I corrected her by telling her they're stuffed not extinct.

ELVES DAY #6

Goin' goldfishin'.

CHRISTMAS IN THE PARK

Went to Christmas in the park tonight. It was so warm we rolled down the car windows.

TWO MONTH CHECKUP

Gryphin had his checkup today. He now weights 12.2lbs putting him in the 50%. He is 24" long putting him in the 78%. His head measures 40.3cm putting him in the 49%. He is exactly the same size Violet was at her two month checkup. The only difference is the percentages are different. I'm guessing there are different growth charts for girls and boys. Violet weighed 12.5lbs 90%, 24"long 95%, and head measured 40cm 80%.
Look at that sad face. Screamed and cried so hard he made himself all blotchy.

ELVES DAY #5

The elves took all Violet's underwear and hung them on the tree. Of course they left a trail of underwear down the steps and through the  kitchen. Her dresser drawer was left open with underwear hanging out. She's going to FREAK out tomorrow knowing they were in her room. She already has  issues thinking her dolls look at her at night. She has to lay them face down so they can't stare at her. This might put her over the edge.
