PUMPKIN PICKIN'

This morning we went over to Faulkner's Pumpkin Farm to pick out a pumpkin. We didn't pay to do all the activities, she's just to little, we just went to the barn to pick out a pumpkin and take some photos. The last shot was taken in the front yard this afternoon after it warmed up. She doesn't like the sun so she's a bit frowny in most of the pics.

PUFFS

Violet finally likes Puffs. It's taken a couple of tries but I think she's got it down this time. She still hasn't really figured out that she's got to let go of the Puff when it reaches her mouth. The picture below is from two weeks ago when we first gave her Puffs.

This morning Violet went to a casting for a commercial. It was an interesting experience. Not necessarily something we are pushing but we thought this might be fun. And it was. She was tagged lucky number 13. I'll let you know if anything comes of it.

PATTY-CAKE

Violet claps all the time now. She loves playing patty cake. All we have to do now is start singing the song and she starts clapping away.

DEANNA ROSE FARMSTEAD

Grandma came in town this week and yesterday we spent the afternoon at Deanna Rose Farmstead over in Overland Park. It was a really nice day and Violet was in a great mood. There are no pictures of her smiling. She gets very serious when she's some place new and there are new things to see.
