ALL THE ANIMALS

Violet has been playing with her animals continuously for a couple of weeks now. We have a bucket of animals of all sizes. In the bucket there is a small hippo and a big hippo. Violet has pointed to the small hippo and said baby and pointed to the big hippo and said mama. She's also gets very concerned when she can't find the two hippos. She'll also say hippo. I have finally realized that she knows more than I think she does.

The hyena is a 'woof woof'.

CROWN

Finished adding the details to Violet's crown. I just need to add some elastic for a strap. Now here's hoping she keeps it on her head. We might have to do some practicing before we get our pictures take.

NEW DRESS

Violet is modeling her new dress I made for her Saturday. I made her a plaid Halloween one and decided it fit so well to make another. I think I'm going to make a few more. I used Simplicity pattern 2574. This pattern also has a pattern for a dress with a pleated skirt, which I'll be using to make her xmas dress out of. I got some cute patterned corduroy for that.
