Three of the four girls. All decked out for the 4th. I think I can get another year out of that dress for Violet. Lots of neighborhood friends Yelling at me to not take a picture. Boom!!
The only way to stay cool is to just be wet. We made some sponge balls tuesday. I had buckets of water to dunk them in and then throw them at each other. That was our last night outside and it looks like it will be for a while. It's too hot.
Cell phone pics from last weekend that I forgot I had. Fun jumping and bouncing at Monkey Joe's. Ice cream at Spanky's. Wow! that's a lot of ice cream. The only time she didn't cry when she looked at me was when I had food. That's about as far as she got.
Look! She's not glued to Chris!!!! We've gone to the pool every night this week for about an hour to practice. Not a lot of people in the pool at 5:45. She's made HUGE leaps this week.
Shopping in Old St. Charles. Not fans of shopping. Unless it's for candy. We saw a fife and drum corps. Violet was not impressed. She said it was the shortest parade ever. Eating lunch at a haunted restaurant. We got back to Grandma's, took some naps and then went outside to play.
We spent the evening friday night at a Cardinal's game. This was Violet's first baseball game. She was a little bored at first but then we got out the snacks, and bought cotton candy a icecream. Then she said her tummy hurt. oops. Seats were right over the first base line. Not to bad. Great shot of the arch... and another of the old court house. Zooming in. A great night time view of downtown. They turned the lights out just before the fireworks show. A perfect ending to the evening. Very tired kids after the game. We didn't get home till after 11:00. The latest Violet has ever been up.
