FUN AT CROWN CENTER

Chris and I took the day off and did some fun stuff with Violet. It seems like all we ever do is go to Target. Sad I know. So we decided to do something different.

First we stopped by our office where Violet walked away with more presents. Miss Allison gave her a dog that she LOVES, Miss Liz gave her her froggy key chain that makes noise and Miss Maria ended up giving Violet these cute felted slippers she made.

SUPER cute! We work with awesome people!

Then we headed over to Crown Center and walked around the toy store.

We've been planning on getting Violet these bunnies for a while now. They are part of the Calico Critters series. I love all the houses and accessories for these little animal families.

After the toy store we headed over to an exhibit that is going on right now about Fairy Tales. Unfortunately it was jam packed with kids and Violet was a little overwhelmed. She's not pushy and tends to get knocked around a bit. We didn't stay very long, but we got some cute pics.

Then we headed over to Fritz's for lunch. This was the best part of the morning. Violet LOVED it. Fritz's delivers your food by trains that run along the ceiling.

There are also glass cases around the booths that have trains running in them.

Here's the track along the ceiling. You can kind of see our train way in the distance heading for our table.

Then it drops off the food on the elevator that lowers it down to the table. Violet was speechless.

She ate almost her entire burger. I think it was because she was distracted by all the trains.

And lastly we went over to the fudge shop to get a piece of candy.

'Nummy'!

Is Fritz's in The Crown Center? I want to take our boys there next Mon. That is if it's ok with Travis. We're heading out that way to see Travis' parents. Mica and Isaak are sooooo into trains!

Second question: Was their food expensive? I'm thinking it's probably similar in cost to Applebee's, maybe?

Robyn-I had no idea why I was making little tiny slippershoes last week and I'm thinking it's because Violet was sending out her birthday vibe. I had no idea it was her birthday. Ha ha ha. They look absolutely perfect on her. They were definitely meant for her. :-)

Thanks for blogging about Fritz's! We stopped by The Crown Center on the way home from Moberly, MO. The boy's loved it! :)
