In the past six weeks Violet has finally discovered the television. Her favorite show is Dora. Most nights she wants to "watch Dora and eat ice". She likes crushed ice. Weird I know.
This past weekend Nick Jr changed up their program schedule. Which meant no Dora at the times Violet could watch her. Unfortunately our DVR is upstairs in our tv room. The TV in the living room is ancient and needs to be replaced before we can get another DVR box. So monday we had to go to Target and pick up two Dora dvd's so we could still watch Dora.
I looked all over for a plush Dora doll. It's harder than you think. Most are all plastic with nylon hair. Thanks to Grandma pink baby is her baby of choice right now and it goes everywhere. Apparently it's name is Karen.

No guillotines. but that baby is in time out a lot or is sick.

Welcome to Dora... Niko's girlfriend. I bought several DVDs VERY cheap on Amazon's used market... like $1 cheap!
Isaak still doesn't watch TV. It's a good thing I guess, but I would like if he would watch something while I cook dinner.
Mica on the other hand begs for TV.
The hard thing about having 2 kids, is that they are on different levels with TV, or DVD's. Isaak should be watching shows like Elmo, Thomas, anything on PBS. Mica wants to watch Disney movies, ET, The Wizard of Oz (full blown movies). He likes to watch things that would never keep Isaak's attention.
