Chris came home yesterday from the Comic-Con with a lightsaber for Violet. Now let's see how long it takes before she's chasing after the dogs with it.

PLANET COMIC-CON

This weekend is Planet Comic Con, KC big comic convention. Violet and I decided to go visit Chris today. Looks pretty professional!

I left Violet with Chris while I went and bought some patches to sew on tshirts for Violet. I picked up three patches, Domo, a Care Bear, and a nice big WonderWoman one.

Totally should have dressed Violet as a Jawa! There were tons of Storm Troopers from the 501st. I didn't get any pictures of them. To hard to maneuver the stroller and take a picture. As always there were lots of good costumes and just as many bad costumes. Not everyone can wear spandex.

FITS FOR NO REASON

Tantrum 1. Throwing our self on the floor. Which led to hitting of head on wall.

Tantrum 2. Screaming hysterically because I said it was time for time out.

SAY WHAT? WEDNESDAYS

Violet is always reminded to walk and not run. This happens a lot at school too. This past Sunday she was running and not looking where she was going and ran right into a desk full speed. It left a huge bump, bruise, and scrape just above her eye. Luckily it wasn't worse. Monday morning on the way to school we passed a man jogging on the sidewalk. Violet pointed to the man and said, "No running, walk". Maybe it's finally sunk in.

MESS

We managed to get out side for a while this evening. We went across the street to play with friends Addy and Gillian who were running and jumping in the little snow that is left. Violet just stood there and cried because she didn't want to get in the snow and get 'a mess'. So we went back home and got her bike out. Then she saw Chris throwing snowballs and decided to attempt the snow after all.

Here she is complaing that her hands were 'a mess' and 'ticky'.

Finally decided to try and make a snowball.


What's this? Out in the middle of the snow! All was fine till she fell in it and couldn't get up.

New pretty bows.

Last years hat still fits so Violet wore it to school and got to wear it in the school parade.


Last year was so warm Violet wore shorts and a tshirt to school!

GUESSING HEIGHT

I found a formula for figuring out your kids height. I've always heard double their height at age two. If that were the case Violet would end up being 6 ft tall exactly. But apparently for a male you multiply their height 2.04 times and for a female you multiply their height 1.95 times. Going by this calculation Violet would be 5ft 8.5in tall, still taller than average, but not an Amazon. That seems more believable. It would make her 2.5 inches taller than me.

FAMILY BDAY PARTY

We had our family birthday party for Violet yesterday. She got lots more gifts.

I decided to ice the cupcakes pink w/ sprinkles this time around and didn't insert the cookies into the cupcakes.




I made her a hippo. Her favorite animal.

That's a lot of Play-doh!!! We're gonna have fun with that this summer.


I also made her baby a matching dress. Here she is showing Jackson and Aunt Karen her doll dress. They watched the party via Skype.
